Job Description

We are looking for: 

A driven and experienced Export Sales Representative to expand our footprint across neighbouring and Sub-Saharan African markets. 

 

Knowledge and abilities: 

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, preferably within the electrical industry. 
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a proactive team player. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively. 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines. 
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Africa 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and grow export markets within Africa 
  • Identify and secure new distributors and customers 
  • Achieve and exceed export sales targets 
  • Manage key accounts and build strong client relationships 
  • Coordinate export processes with internal departments 
  • Provide market feedback to support buying and marketing strategies 
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline management on CRM system. 

Boxes to tick: 

  • Matric  
  • Minimum of 3 years in external export sales. 
  • Experience in electrical, hardware, or technical industries advantageous 
  • A relevant degree or diploma in sales, business, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Valid passport 
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
