Knowledge and abilities: 

• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques. 

• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 

• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. 

• Strong communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and feedback. 

• Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation for printing. 

• Familiarity with current design trends and best practices. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Designing store front banners, boards, and other branding materials. 

• Creating technical specification/data sheets. 

• Producing stills for social media. 

• Ensuring consistent branding across all materials. 

• Capturing high-quality photography and videopgraphy. 

• Motion Graphics / Video FX 

• Social Media Management (PPC and Campaign management posts) 

• Maintaining Brand Consistency Across All Outputs 

• Collaborating Across Departments for Design Alignment 

• Publications 

• Project Management 

• Managing Digital Asset Libraries 

• Contributing to Creative Strategy 

• A/B Testing and Design Iteration 

• Keeping Up With Industry Trends 

• Miscellaneous Graphic Design Tasks 

Boxes to tick: 

• Matric  

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. 

• At least 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment. 

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom, Premiere Pro). 

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of creative and high-quality design work.
